In the midst of Animal Kingdom !

Well been long time taken up the left our Humour Challenges.
Challenge Accepted #09

A kinda thoughtful title, what will I do if all my friends turn Animals and I am being left out as Human.
Thank God, he didn’t mention whether it was Wild or Domestic Animals. So I thought lemme take up both the options and try to make it interesting.

Domestic Animals:
Aaaahh, now if I am surrounded by Domestic animals, wish I have the following with me, a Dog, a Cat, a Horse and bunch of Cattle all in pairs. With dogs I am sure I will have all my day time pass with them. Remember “I am Legend” movie how Will Smith just stayed all day with a dog. I will have a pair so double treat. With cats I am sure they will be ruining my house, which will keep me busy all day to keep cleaning my house. With a cow, I would have learnt milking from them, with #Aavin scams going on, I would be happy to drink fresh and clean milk and the list goes and will be happy by benefiting by them. But there will be no thrill in having them.

One good thing, I don’t need to scold any of my human friends as Dog or Buffalo because all of them would be in real form. Next thrilling thing which I would be doing is, I would make Cat as a boss over a Dog, and a donkey head of all the Cattle. Sounds interesting?

As our Dr.Abdul Kalam used to say the brilliants are found in backbenches, all those back benches are called as Donkey and now they are really in the form of donkey so I am sure they would be great leaders. Now why Cat bossing over Dog? How many days’ dogs will be dominant over Cats, let them have a change and have the taste of their own medicine.

Wild Animals:
Now this reminds me of the movie “ Night at the Museum”, I would love to repeat the same as Ben did in that movie, but how will it justice just because I am following his ideas. What more interesting will I do?

I would make all the Carnivorous as Herbivorous and vice versa. Wouldn’t be that cruel? Just imagine the entire Deer and Zebra’s hunt in big pack the small group of Lions? Wouldn’t be that interesting?

It would be a remake of Jungle Book to be precise. Last I would take free rides on all animals.
Don’t wanna make it too much lengthy and boring.

Well it took long time to post this challenge.

Cya soon with more posts !!

Well guess all the challenges I have taken up challenged by my friends !!!

The Greeny Chin Chin

The month of May 2015 has been an extravaganza so far, particularly bcos' of my Nellai Vacation. If you follow my FB wall you can follow all the picture action of my Nellai vacation !! But something else too happened in this vacation of which I didnt share a pic yet.

It was on last friday when I was cleaning my car, I suddenly noticed something crawling on the road. I carefully noticed and realized it was a bird. I went near it expecting it fly but it never flew instead kept crawling. Somehow went very close to it and caught it. I tried to make it fly but it seemed too much frightened. It was then I noticed it was a baby bird which was making attempt to fly but got bruised and now unable to fly.

Chin Chin on my Hands

I took to my home where it was crowded with all my kutty (younger) cousins. They all were just screaming happily to look at that cute little pie. Things started to worsen when all kutties wanted to have it in its hand and play. It got more frightened. Luckily we had a small cage so immediately transferred to it.

Credits to all my cousins who meanwhile made several attempts to feed some water and food. They managed to give some water alone. Inside the cage it just took "Statue Mode" without giving any movement.

Meanwhile my cousin David and bro Mic made attempt to go near the near where it fell to look for its mom and nest but went in vain.

My cousin david is a specialist in taking care of abadandoned young ones of animals & birds. Once he took care of a Squirrel and later left. So I gave him the responsibility to take care of the bird till it grows.

The next drama was to keep a name of it. Don't remember who, one of my cousin asked whether it is a boy or a girl. I just said it is yet to become a male or a female still in deciding mode. Uff whatta great escape. Since I am good at keeping names all where asking me, I gave the responsibility to my younger champ bro to name. He kept telling numerous names all Cartoon characters name finally kept "Chin Chin" !!!

By the time it was dark so we all let it sleep, but my cousin Akku papa was so concerned about her health and for not eating anything. Dinner's menu was Idiyappam, she broke it into several pieces and fed it telling the bird that it is a worm. You guys need to believe she was speaking with the bird !! To our surprise she some how made the bird to eat some Idiyappam to her, and also kept some more in a small bowl near to it and covered it with a towel.

Next day morning I went near the cage so curiously whether it was alive ! Thank God it was alive and quite active. So I decided to shift it outside the room and hung the cage near the balcony.

Guess what happened next??

Chin Chin suddenly got so active and started attempting to fly away. I was wondering wow and was so happy for it. Soon it became restless. That's when I noticed that it became so active and was responding to the sound coming from the tress. It was her mother bird which was making the noise and in response it was flapping it's wings because it could not make sound.

Later we requested my cousin Akku pappa to send her with her mom, and she accepted willingly to the extent that it was her who took the Chin Chin outta the cage and left it near a branch of tree. It was a thirll because the bird which was unable to fly the day before also was frightended, got hyper active and flew away with it's mom.

Just wondering how blessed is our Mother Nature ! Imagine the power of a Mother, she didn't made an attempt to come near the cage, just a gentle sound which was feeble but loud enough for it's younger. I was really amazed.

Everyone at home were too excited because Chin Chin was back with it's mom. The entire day we kept a watch whether it fell down by mistake again but it didn't to the best of our sight.

It was there with us for hardly 12 hours but its memories are sweet and ever memorable !!

Thank God for giving us such a wonderful witness of True Mother's Love !!!

All Roads Doesn't Leads to Rome !!!

My day's destination started at 09.30 a.m. today morning. To surprise it started with a heavy rain. I was quite thrilled particularly in this heavy rain to drive through city and reach West Mambalam.

Off late I had been avoiding GST road to avoid heavy traffic jam due to Metro works and using Medavakkam Koot road and reach Airport runway with ease. Everything went on well till the edge of GST road, when things changed entirely. Roads were completely blocked and was literary stuck and had no clue what to do, with only one solution left i.e. to "Wait and Wait". Rain was on Full mode to hit the ground with showing no mercy.

May be after 30 minutes, I moved further I realized I had to cross a Subway. Guys, Subwayyyyyy.
Uff, initially I thought I could zoom through the Subway but none opted to take route and everyone were taking the service lane of the Subway. I too took that route and saw an AAAWWW moment. I am sharing that pic with you.

Guess what zoom it and see, it is a Bus guys. It was literaaly stuck up inside the Subway which made an attempt to zoom through the subway. I am thinking what would have happened had I done the same.

Anyway that was the time I was thinking myself as the cleverest guy on the planet. I just thought all roads will be parallel and could reach with ease on the other side via some bridge. My assumption was "All Roads leads to Rome".

Time was ticking 10.00 a.m., I crossed the service lane of the bridge and reached Adambakkam. The traffic wasn't moving an inch too. If I would have kept a race with Turtle even that would have reached the destination faster than me. I didn't had any clue where I was and where I am heading. I was forced to follow cars before me and most hilarious was people behind me too were following me so sincerely. May be after one hour reach Guindy and finally at 12.15 reach Kathipara.

Whatta a sigh of relief it was indeed. It was priceless !!!

Summary of the story:
1. All Roads Doesn't lead to Rome i.e. our expected destination.
2. Always think before route you are going to choose during Rainy season.

Wanted to share this video, which I took during the drive. It was real fun though the initial 30 minutes of drive. Priceless again !!

Mom's Joey

This is a tale of how a Rowdy Joe turned into Mom's Joey !!!

It's been a month since I have kept on Chin beard and then went on to turn it into a Moroccan type. It suited my face to larger extent, but one person at home kept on disliking and it was my Mom.

On Good Friday she said this is guy is not my son. He is a rowdy. Unfortunately I had to accept that fact. To her, anyone with beard is a rowdy. She doesn't like me keeping even Mustache. In fact I too don't like having it too.

As told earlier, this tale is an event which happened in a span of 30 minutes to bring back Mom's Joey from a Rowdy Joe.

Step 1: All the equipment for the events were ready. Made sure I had a new blade to have a clean shave.

Step 2: Moroccan to French Beard
To start with Knocked off the side beard which I had been sidelining very carefully for the past one month. I had to apply very little shaving cream because of it's less density. Now this will give you a French Beard look.

Step 3: Clive Lloyd  !!! Now looked at me carefully it gave me an old man look with a strange beard. So after a thinking for 5 minutes there was a confusion to go for Chin Beard alone or to keep a Mustache. Since have kept Chin Beard many times, went for Mustache. It was little hard to knock off my chin beard because those were almost 2 cms long and dense. I had always been a great fan of Clive Lloyd particularly for his big and stylish Mustache. Thought I am not height as him atleast can keep a Mustache like him. So went for a Clive Lord Mustache look.

Step 4: Mom's Joey !! Now how does that look guys? More strange or funny??
To me it was like more of Matured kinda look. I was thinking about mom, how she will react. I am sure she is gonna say Joe you look like an Uncle !! Now already one of my friend is very fond of calling me "Uncle Joe" for whatever reasons. Doesn't want to give the entire people a chance to call like that. Finally with no other options left went for a clean shave to fulfill mom's wish. Infact with hot soaring sun of Chennai, I wasn't so comfortable with beard on my face. It was so sweating and itching to the core.

Now this is my complete look at the end of the day.

After a long research and bit by bit shaving I finally settled with this look. Mom's Joey look..
She was so happy to see me back in clean shave. Dad was like shocked and was not comfortable to see me in clean shave and was telling that my face has suddenly changed drastically. He told I should have kept like beard to give a little guy look, this looks like a kid.

Whatever the world says, To mom I am always the same chubby and clean shave Joey.

Hope I continue to be so..........

So this is tale of an Rowdy Joe turning into Mom's Joey. .

Happy Weekend !!!!!!!

A Mysterious Tale

Howdy folks !

On this #ThrowBackThrusday, want to share an incident which happened during our school days !!

The picture below may look simple but has an unforgettable tale attached to it.
From Left to Right on Cycle : Myself, Sunil and Muthukumar. Don't remember the juniors standing in our cycles except for Richard who is on Muthu's cycle.

This happened in 11th grade of our Bell School. We guys were rock stars during our 11th grade, bcos we were the Senior most gang available for any School's extra-curricular activities. Our Senior 12th grade people were always busy with Studies.

We were a gang of only 11 guys in total and rest some 8 girls in our class.

It was our School Sports day when our Princi Renuka madam, called us and asked to do a Cycle Pyramid. We were quite excited to do mainly because the permission was granted only to us to do. So obvisously to show our #Gethu we were on it.

The act of Joint Pyramid which is in the picture was the easiest of all, we were supposed to go for one lap like this. But credit goes also to our School Juniors who were brave to stand on our Back Seats fearlessly.

Now coming to the Mystery Incident. We guys were also supposed to ride through a Pyramid shaped Wooden base. It was almost 3 feet height pyramid with two pieces of wooden attached. It was placed at three places in one lap. We guys were practicing it. Then our princi madam, insisted us to do the same stunt by taking out one of the piece i.e Half Pyramid. So it was like get on it and falling from the top for almost 3 feet. Initially we guys hesitated but practiced with the support of our class mate. We used to have long run up on cycle to get speed and do the stunt. All this was happening but two of our classmates - Noorul and Selvamurugan were not present. Suddenly Noorul came to the ground with his cycle and was ready to go for the stunt. We were actually surprised to see him and warned him to not to do that stunt since it was quite dangerous. But he wasn't in a mood to listen and went fast from the run up. What happened next, is the same which you guys have guessed. He was literary on Air for almost 2 seconds. He went out of control and crashed on the land and his cycle came flying above him and hit him. Still the memories of his stunt is fresh. We all rushed and raised him from the mud. Guess he had three stitches near his lips and severe injury on his forehead.

Ask any of my school batch mates everyone will narrate this incident with a broad smile on their faces. Such an epic it was.

Unfortunate part for us was that Princi cancelled that stunt alone and asked to with two pieces and in proper pyramid shaped structure. We guys were quite angry with Noorul bcos it was bcos of him our Air Stunt show was cancelled. We would have had one more feather to our cap if we would done that stunt.

The mystery which still lies among us what made him to do that stunt. One thing which we came to know later, it was b'cos of our class girls he did that stunt. As mentioned earlier during our practice he and selva didn't come to practice and stayed in class with our all our girls. Somebody in that girl's gang told something, still we couldn't find and get to know who said what which made him to do that stunt.

If any of my Batch mates (girls) are reading this please do reveal that mystery. I am sure it's one among you 8 girls.

We had asked several times to Noorul but till now he has neva told who it was. He always managed with a smile.

Chalo here ends the mysetrious epic which happened during our school days, without the knowing the main culprit behind that incident. Also leaving behind with expectation that we would come to know that person who tempted Noorul to do that stunt.

RAY

A ray of hope has come into my life to glorify the God one step more and I have named it RAY. Ray to me is gonna be my brother just like RATTLE is to me so far. Now you guys are thinking who are RAY and RATTLE.

Rattle is my Acoustics version of Guitar. It’s been there with me since 2009. Its a special one b’cos it gave me loads of happiness during my down and sorrow times. So far, with God’s grace have used it only for God’s purpose. It was since this year beginning b’cos I had been into various church activities and outreach ministries Rattle needed a higher-end brother and so I decided to go for an electrical one.

The hunt for electrical guitar started two months back via online, then couple of weeks before went to Mount Road, Adayar and last week to Besant Nagar. Enquired in Vadapalani and Nungabakkam. Really it was a tough decision. There were models but weren’t fitting my budget. Either it was too cheap and we knew the quality of it. On the other end the price were quite sky rocketing. After say loads of R&D myself and my bro David decided to go for Ibanez GRX40 the one shortlisted at Adayar Music shop.

I have a short testimony of how I owned RAY. I shortlisted RAY two weeks before itself but still had in my mind to go for more options. I didn't wanted this too to go out of stock so promised the shop keeper to buy within with a week and requested not to sell to anyone. He just gave me two days time and kept it inside a separate room with covers. Even after two days I wasn't clear to choose. So I informed the shopkeeper to hold it back only if it is possible else asked him to give if some customers ask for it. My heart was heavy to not to own it. The shop keeper kept calling and told few customers are asking for white colour guitar because seems they too liked the colour and model. He told he will wait till last friday. I even told OK and asked him to go ahead if I don't turn up till Friday. I  just prayed to God, "Lord, if it is your will that Guitar will be mine". Yesterday when I went I had hope that my God is always the miraculous one and will never let me down. As requested when I went yesterday, the shop keeper took it inside from the same room were it was kept safe last time when I saw. I felt just just strongly, that RAY was manufactured just for me.

One thing, the price wasn't fitting my budget but still I had only thing in my mind, I am going to play this only to Glorify God, so I should get the best for HIM. So far God has given the best in my life. My Parents, Education, Friends etc. etc without compromise. So why to compromise when it comes for HIM. Moreover, something attracted the time I saw RAY for the first time, may be the colour or the finish of the entire guitar. I am basically in love with White colours off late, be it my Car, Mobile, Key Chains, my Guitar picks and even my Pen. I haven’t seen many playing with White colour guitars too so might be also the reason for going for RAY. But what soever it was God’s plan for me to gift me a such a bro. I never had any particular colour or style to buy to be honest. I was quite keen to own in Yamaha b’cos of it’s brand. But when I saw RAY though being an Ibanez didn’t feel odd. Moreover Ibanez too is an Internationally top brand which I came to know only today. So no regrets to own such a bro. My first electrical Guitar.

At home, both Mom and Dad were happy that I selected an awesome colour. Dad being always fond of White colours had a broad smile when he saw RAY.

As God’s plan and my Wish I strummed RAY for the first time in Church today. It was a perfect occasion being it a Youth Sunday we guys were asked to sing special songs and lead the worship session. We selected numbers from Bro. Isaac Joe a perfect song for RAY. I was just thanking God with lil tears for giving me such an opportunity and gift. I have only one determination in my mind that the waves and sound that’s gonna ray out of RAY is always gonna glorify HIM.

p.s.: Yet to buy supports for RAY like Strangers and Processor, hope God be with me for getting a perfect supports for him.

Casper turned 2 :)

It's been two years since she came into my Life, but my word days have zoomed just like she has zipped 40,000 kms so far. Yes Casper turned 2 last Friday - 23rd Jan :)

What to describe about her, call her a Beast, she roars sometimes with 130 km speed, if you want to name her White Beauty yes she still shines elegant or want to name her zipper, she moves across tough traffic of chennai with ease. But she will be always my beloved #Casper.

Last one year had been an adventurous year as compared to the 1st year. She has traveled twice to Nellai, once to Hosur, twice to Mahabalipuram and numerous new roads of Chennai core city.

The first trip to Nellai was a special one, because we went as a whole family, dad, mom, chithi, chitappa and my younger gene. Wow it was a complete fun and entertainment in the month of May. Then all my younger cousins bundled inside the car jam packed to enjoy Ibaco IceCream shop. NutShell my May vacation was a memorable one mainly because of her. Further in last December a surprise visit was possible only because of her.

She saved me from hard soaring Sun, occasional Heavy rains and last now from chilling and sickening Cold weather of Chennai.

Apart from all these she is now travelling with me every 2nd Sunday for Village Ministry to Vellore with all our Ministry Team. I really thank God for bringing her into my life, because without her such a work wouldn't be possible with ease.

Donno what & how more to express my happiness about her. She is may be a Non-Living one but to me she is my Sweet Heart and a Living buddy. She had a dent last week but didn't want to enter her 2nd bday with that so made sure she looks fresh and elegant as always.

Prayers to God thanking for bringing her into my Life and wish she continues to bring more Memories and Nostalgic ride in the coming years.

Love You Casper alias CEZA

A Companion for more than a decade.

What would you term something which accompanies for more than a decade, may be to be precise 12 years. Such is a companion about which I am sharing it today.

I don’t have a name for it but its brand name is #Shelton. Hope you guys would have guessed it by now. If not, then I will tell, it is my most favorite shirt. Don’t go to awww moment now. Yes I wore it all these years but the occasions were less than compared to the normal usage. I am a wardrobe freak, many of my friends would acknowledge it. But this particular one is something special.

I don’t remember who bought it for me, but only thing I remember it was gifted in a RMKV Tirunelveli cover. I was in 11th grade when it was gifted to me. It was quite larger in size to me that time and I hardly used to wear it because in 12th grade out of 24 hours I would be wearing School uniform for more than 12 hours (Early morning special classes, school, tuition in same uniform). So hardly would wear casual outfits those days. Now you would think I would have worn it during college days, nah you are wrong. Ask any of my UG mates all would have hardly seen me wearing a formal pant or a formal shirt. So this shirt I shelved it and wore it one very occasions. Only in my MBA days is when I started wearing all Formal shirts one of them was this one. Later till date I used often to office when I don’t have to meet any clients or to any meetings.

So you can see notice that I wore it on rare occasions but still wore on regular basis. The best part which I love this shirt is it’s soft blend of cloth which gives me at most comfort in all seasons and also its brown shade with small checks makes me love it each time I wear it.

I am planning wear henceforth still more rarely or not to wear for next 6 months and keep it as one of my collectibles.

This post may be simple and have nothing great in it, but I am sharing it as a memory because I have little other stuff with me which has crossed a decade or nearing a decade with me. One of them is this shirt. So loads more similar post on way...

A Long Necked and a Sharp Nosed Companion

Right my school days I had a crush on him  Now you guys thinking on him? A guy? Let the post end. He used to accompany always my buddy Syed during my schooldays. I was always curious to make him my best companion but it took long time to make one.

His long neck and sharp nose always makes me crazy to gel along.

I bet you he is a wonderful companion at all rough situation and also comfort you the best.
Still thinking who could be #him?

Now lemme break the suspense.

It’s my boot folks. I always wished of owning a boot for a long time but to rare instance never had a chance to own one till 2015. It is my first Boot. As I mentioned earlier what makes me crazy about it is its high neck and a perfect blend of nose which when wore gives you a complete finish. It gels well for any occasion. Let it with be formal or informal wear it will suit to all situations.

I am happy that I own one now.  I still wish to stack few more collections of shoes in my stand. God willing should stack it up before it gets too late.

Hope I will have long stories to share with him in future days.

2 `J `0 `O `1 `E `4 :) :D ;) B-) :P

2015 – An year trusting my sorrows will turn into Happiness (John 16:20).

Well wish to turn back and retrospect the year 2014 as I always do every year. It was a special year, was a year of hope and trust. Many wishes came true but many are still pending may be finding the right time to reveal. Overall it was a satisfying year. As I always do, want to thank God for the wonderful 2014.

Family & Relatives: Health wise 2014 was a healthy year with no major sickness to my parents and myself. Trip wise 2014 was a memorable one, with a long family vacation with all Cousins to Kutrallam in the month of May. With God’s grace went to Tirunelveli via Self Drive on my Casper. His presence and his angels guarded us in both the occasions. Month of December went twice to Nellai. All together after college days visited Nellai quite often in 2014.

Friends and Hangouts: Well last year didn’t had much of trips and tours with my friends. But small hangouts were always on board with my School buddies, Partner Anand, Bro David and with my ever green trio Dinesh Pradeep and Joe combo. Three of my school buddies entered into their next stage of Marriage life on row in the months of May, June and August respectively. Thus leaving behind only couple of more guys in the list of bachelors including me.
Went twice to Rajasthani Hub of Authentic food once with my brother Deepak and next time with my School buddies to. It was fun being a veggie in that season.
Come August as always, was donning the role of organizer for the G2G with my UG College mates, With God’s grace succeeded this time too. With His guidance made it grand. Not sure whether I will be taking up the same challenge in this year. This year was a special dual combo because there was another G2G with my PG college mates on Aug 15th. It was another good reunion with donning the role of partial organizer.
Apart from that this time got a chance to write a post on my very dear SISTERS who are close to my hearts.
Hmm what else, yeah went to Theatre after couple of years that too twice with my bro David for the movies Noah and Son of God. Well this was just an overview of all the hangouts with Friends.

Social networking: It was yet another flash with respect to Social Networking. I got too much excited in blogging hence started a new blog to scribble some non-sense and kill my time. -- vettithanam.wordpress.com
End of the year activated a Soundcloud page of own to share my very own compositions. With respect to Blogging been posting on interesting label called – “Challenge of Being Humour”. Last year managed to post 26 posts all together my third highest in a calendar year so far.

Spiritual Life: 2014 was a milestone with respect to Spiritual Life. Couple of Village Ministries to Vellore, one to Chengelpet, one ministry to North Chennai Church, occasional Prayer Meetings and Carol round was the highlights of the spiritual calendar. I am a small part in Yeshuas Ministries from 2014. God was very kind and lead me through trials and temptations spiritually. It was a blessed year indeed.
With the grace of God the whole year went on zooming with ACA church where I am playing guitar and also in Youth Prayer meetings with Yeshuas Ministries. End December composed two Songs for New Year. It was a real blessing in disguise.

Professional Front: It was yet another lightening year, with loads of ups and downs. Learnt a lot and I have matured quite well in my field of work. There is secret with respect to Professional front which I will share when time comes. Apart from that God lead through all the Darkest valleys throughout the year.

Hobbies and Miscellaneous: Casper will turn 2 coming January. She visited twice to Nellai, twice to Vellore, once to Hosur and loads more on ECR with me. She is still adorable and cute babe to me. I love her each day. She has crossed 38000 kms so far. Rio was a family member who was there with me for few months. He fell sick and passed away. God willing will get a new friend in this month.
Some good news with respect to Physical activities. From last  May been regular to Shuttle court. I got a good healthy batch with whom the day kicks offs very well. I was runners up in the tournament conducted by them. Apart from that other nostalgic event which I personally enjoyed were CSK’s Champion trophy winning moment, watching the entire season of FIFA World Cup till finals, shifting to new house, Singing and practicing songs with my bro Michael, my first Flight experience, first time visits to cities like Hyderabad, Vellore (Kondakuppam), Madurai and few more places.

Personal Front: Yet another year of Bachelorhood. Don’t think will be posting the same line in 2016. The search for the better half or the Ribs is going on at high speed and at anytime I may end my Bachelorhood. But above all these one Director of the show is there called GOD who’s plan none knows. I Personally enjoyed the year of 2014 with tons of lessons and mistakes to be corrected.

To sum up, 2014 was a beginning of Good things in the coming years. Take it every label of this post, it has something to flourish and expand in the year of 2015.

Just Praying for more blogs post in the coming year 2015 and a many turn around.

Wish me all a happy and blessed Year 2015.

Cherry on Top

If I wanna name this month of December I would name is Cheery on Top of 2014. Yes every good beginning to the year is auspicious but to me the ending too needs to be a special. Such was the month of December 2014 for me. It was a complete nostalgic month of December 2014.

The month started with a special Midas touch. Off late I am going to the church first thing in the morning every starting of the month where I go to play guitar but this time I opted to go also to my CSI church. A double delight for the first time in my life. The same weekend visited Nellai and it turned out to be a real Nostalgic Vacation (click on the link I have shared the memories of that vacation).

Then came my First Flight experience, I am still running outta words to describe that 55 minutes of Journey of lifetime.

Then in 2nd sunday went for a Village Ministry with my Yeshuas Ministry troop. Before I could get out of those wonderful moments came my First ever carols experience. Later followed by it a Car drive experience on my Casper to Nellai and returning with a beautiful secret which was revealed to me. In the midst of all these incidents didn't forget to erect my Christmas Tree and my wonder star.

By the time all these happened Christmas arrived. On the eve of Christmas after a long time, went for a bike ride with my brother David to Besant Nagar and ECR may be after a couple of months. We had kind of happy memories that night with little drama.

Christmas 2014 was yet another special one with my beloved Grandpa’s presence at home was a blessing in disguise. I was blessed to gift him a shirt for him for the first time. I don’t know what was running in his mind but I was little bit on tears. Along with my Aunt’s family joining the party was a complete new experience we as a family had all together.

Now guys, temme is not cherry on the top moments for me? If you say Yes then think again, if you say No then wait the real cherry was topped only in the last week.

It was on 26th evening when I took my guitar just to strum my aunt suddenly peeped into my room with a smile. She asked me what am I gonna do. I told just take out some songs for this New Year from youtube and make younger bro sing. It was then she sparkled an idea why shouldn’t we compose an own song of our own. I was game for it. We immediately sat down and started to scribble all possible word which is used for New Year wishes. After say couple of hours we made it into a song and made a rhythm in a nursery rhymes pattern – Link.

I was not overjoyed with that version time too was hitting midnight. Told my aunt she told felt the same, after serious brainstorming session alas we came up with a peppy version with variations in the strumming and style of singing like pauses etc. Those 4 hours of experience are completely freeze in my mind. Time was hitting early morning 3 but we didn’t mind being Sunday the next day. Our scribble didn’t stop there next day we scribbled a Tamil song too for New Year. The whole day of 28th we spent on singing and composing the tamil song. It was a complete fun because it was my first experience in composing and with scribble a song. The song has come out quite well. Hope you guys will like it. --- LINK

My beloved Grandpa
The Cherry didn’t top yet guys. Aunt left by 28th of December. On 29th morning I came to know that my grandpa loves writing songs. In coincidence he had composed one Christmas song for my first Christmas way back in 1986. I was thrilled to know that, I made him write all the lyrics out of his memory and same night made him sing. He is 95 years old but his memories were sharp to recollect all the words of the song and scribbled it. Alas I made him sang too – I am sharing the LINK.

Finally on 30th my ultimate dream came true. It was to sing as a family and praise God. It all happened yesterday night when I asked my Grandpa to sing some old Keerthanai Christian Songs. He was ready to sing. Suddenly my dad joined the groove and my mom too for the last. We sang around 6 songs as a family and grandpa sang 3 separate. I was damn happy to the core to keep on strumming. I will be sharing all those songs on my soundcloud.com/djoephilip

I was just over flowing with ultimate joy when I was hitting my bed. I donno what more should I ask from God because he gave me such a wonderful blessed 2014 ending.

It was a real Cherry on the Top moments.

Today being the last day of the year, want to sign off with a note to all. Just believe in God. He will do wonders. No matter whatever circumstances you are facing just blindly have trust in Him. I had trust that someday all these things will happen but didn’t expect all these to happen in one single month.

I appreciate all my blog viewers who had been constantly supporting me and sharing their comments all these years particularly in 2014 , looking forward to same & more Love and Support in the year 2015.

Wish me more blog posts in 2015.

Happy New Year 2015.

Hidden Secret !!

A wonderful secret was revealed to me last week. My friends always brand me as a good organizer. I always thank God for giving me that gift but always wonder there is something beyond that that makes me a good organizer. It was 19th of December a Friday did I realize that it is in my genes.

Guess what?

Dad is a wonderful organizer a far more surpassing me. It was my Grandma’s 10th Death Anniversary, so my Dad and his brother planned to make it a good occasion to invite all friends and have a prayer meeting. My uncle (chitappa) has also built a new house so that too needed a Mini House Warming ceremony.

We went by car from Chennai and reached only on 19th noon. The function started at 4 by offering Flowers and Poo Maazhai to Grandma’s cemetery, then picking up Church Pastor from church to home. Followed by a warm welcome at home, later a prayer meeting and quick dinner for pastor.
By the time all guest too were present, nobody was left alone wandering. Everyone was having a cup of sweet (Payasam) for evening. Then at 7 the dinner with Mutton Kuzhambu (cooked with a cook at home) and Idiyapam & Idly ordered from outside. By 10 the function was over with a special memento (Bible verse) to all the guests. Mark my words there were no hick ups and issues. It was a simple but a well organized one.

At the end of everything I was just stumped because my uncle and my thatha (grandpa) told the entire thing was organized by Dad. I was just wondering how could he do that? Guess why? The entire thing was organized by him over the phone by sitting in Chennai. Now isn't that something to astonishing? To me it is very much. I being an organizer yes may too have organized the same event but not better compared to him.

A real secret was revealed to me :)

Really want to take this opportunity to thank God for giving a wonderful dad.

#ThankYouLord

My Dad :)

Blessed Christmas Carols

All my dreams are coming true I should say happening in the month of December 2014. Second time in a month got a chance to post on the Label - "My First" followed by my first Flight Experience

It was my long time wish ever since I was in Delhi to be a part of Carol groups. My chithi's during Delhi childhood days used to come very late in the night by the time I would have slept most of the years. I always longed to be a part of Christmas Carols. Somehow or other God didn't had in His agenda of plans for me till last Saturday.

Being a child of an Ex-Service man right from my childhood it was hard to be a part of Carol service because before I get gelled with any friends in Church, dad used to be transferred to some other state. During my end of School days and College days, I never got an opportunity to gel with some one. Though I am a regular Church goer still guess God didn't had will to allow me to get into this.

Alas I was happy to the core to be part of my Church Carol group, more over was excited because I will be on Guitars ( Luckily the only instrument which was taken that day). I had very little practice and only the day of Carol did I know all the songs. I was quite confident that I would be able to strum with ease even though I would be playing for the first time. I waited for this opportunity for 28 long years to be a part of a Carol round service.

The real ecstasy of dreams came alive at 9.30 p.m. when I first entered the house. I was very happy to play my first song of Carol. The song too was an easy one, with my favorite Biala Strumming pattern and then "We Wish you a Marry Christmas". Wow, the Adrenaline level was on peak and was almost jumping in joy. Me and my bro David were geared up with hooded Tee-shirt especially for this carols and had plans for some Pandora of Photographic poses.

Most of all I was very delighted and got a peace of Mind because the main purpose of the entire Carol service was served. It was so Praise God and to Glorify His name, which I delivered it with full deliverance.

We managed to cover around 8 houses because our time duration was limited, also because of the late start, We ended up only at 2.00 a.m. and reached home by 2.30 a.m. In the end because I was playing with full enthusiasm, my string broke up in the last house visit of the day.

Anyway this was a short experience which I wished to share with you all people about my first experience of my first carol service. It was for a small circle but the bundle of Happiness which was running in my mind was as if I was doing for a large gathering. Purely felt God's presence and His blessings which He rendered to me on that day.

I take this opportunity to thank God for the wonderful opportunity which He gave me and enabled for a real blessed Carol rounds. Hope it is just a beginning and many more to follow in the coming weeks and in following years.

p.s.: Also wish to thank God, because I slept at 2.30 a.m. and woke up at 5 a.m followed by which went to Kondakuppam a Village in Vellore for His ministry. I drove the entire journey and played Guitar. There were no obstacles or tireness. He was just filled in me and kept me fresh the entire day. Also enabled me to go and meet my school friends after that and made me sleep only 12.30 a.m. Midnight. Really it was His blessing because of which I am Alive today and happy under His shield.

A Journey of 55 minutes

It may sound childish but need to share with shear happiness that I have finally traveled by Aeroplane. While many of my friends would have traveled at very young age and even my sister Cadence has traveled when she was hardly some months old, it took 28 years for me to step inside a Aeroplane and travel by it.

It was for a marriage occasion of my Business Partner’s son for which I had to travel to Hyderabad on 9th December 2014 and return on 10th December 2014 both with God’s grace by flight.

Till afternoon of 9th Dec I didn't had thoughts that I was going to travel by Flight. Only when I packed my dresses did I realize that I am going to travel by Air. I even pinched myself whether it was a dream or a reality. The excitement level was at peak when I reached Airport and checked in. Incidentally my colleague who traveled with me too was in excitement. For him too it was his first experience in flight. I managed to click my first Selfie at Airport.

After a little drama to board the flight we got seated in our seats and fastened our seat belts. I was lucky enough to get a window seat both the times. The adrenaline started pumping to max when the flight took reverse gear and was ready to take off.

What happened in next 55 minutes of travel from Chennai to Hyderabad was a moment to cherish. The flight took its speed and started to take off. I was just Praising God and thanking Him in the entire journey. It was almost same like going in a Roller Coaster ride when it took off but in real, words aren’t there to describe the happiness I got when the flight took off. My heart was shouting in joy and my mouth was itching to shout #yaay but was in control over myself to hold my emotions & expressions. It was just a 55 minutes travel and even today I am not out of the hangover of my dream. While landing there was a bit of nervousness but with God’s grace it was a smooth landing.

On return from Hyderabad to Chennai the excitement level was not as much of the first one though.

Myself and my colleague were so curious about the Air Hostess and were having some exciting chats about them. I was itching to buy something while traveling but didn't want to waste money just for the sake of buying.

Only one small disappointment that both onward and return journey were night travels so hardly could do any site seeing. But really I loved beautiful city of Chennai with heavy lights and lively traffic when I crossed above it. I even saw the Hyderabad city which was not too exciting as compared to the Chennai city. I have shared the pic of both cities in the last.

God willing I may travel more on air to others parts of India or to other countries but this first experience of flight it will remain cherished forever. Also wish I travel during day time so that I could take some snaps of the God’s creation from up above.

I took a snapshot of my first Air tickets which I am sharing. These tickets will remain fresh ever in my memories for ever. In another luck by chance I traveled by #GoIndigo which I felt gave me a wonderful support and service. Most important there were no flight delays during arrival & departure both on onward and return.

There was one more dream which was fulfilled which I longed to do if I travel by Air someday. It was the tag of "Check-In Carry baggage" and let it remain till it gets torn. From my childhood I always dreamed one day my baggage too will have such a tag and it was fulfilled with God's grace.

I know it was a perfect execution plan of my Almighty God who was the director of this show.  #PraiseGod for everything.

There were loads of tips to get away from the fear of Take Off given by my Chithi's like take a Chewing Gum which will ease your pressure. But one thing it was purely God's grace that I traveled safely both onward and return.
The return flight which I traveled :)

A vacation to remember :)

In the midst of busy hard days, got a couple of days break to my native for my Anna's marriage.
Uff, it was a tight jam packed scheduled but the memories were rocking to the core. Never imagined that it would be so memorable.

There were loads of plans to go out and huddle with my cousins from Ice-Cream parlours to Restaurants, but we settled down in our home upper portion of house which was quite spacious for around 10 of us.

It was an ultimate nostalgic evening. We huddled up wid a Groupfie and were thinking how to kill our time, so I came up with an idea to play "dumb charades".

We managed to kill time the whole evening by playing that. In the midst of all these game, my cutie little sister was busy in painting my nails legs with nail polish. I repeat painting not just applying.

Uff, I took one snap which I am sharing, got scared literary at the end. Then all my cousins, poured Nail Polish remover to take off 90% of the Nail Polish, of which my little sister too accompanied in removing the paint.

Night we had a party with Parotta and Chicken 65 with all the Brothers & Sister and  their family present in our home. It was a very rare occasion to celebrate. It was also my Mama's birthday.

Next day, being the last day of the trip we didn't wanted to waste by sitting just in home. My cousin Minna was having school till 11.30 a.m. so all young ones accompanied me to pick her up from school, later we all huddled. Thanks to Almighty we managed to squeeze out our time to hit atleast Arasan outlet for a quick munch.

The ultimate fun was in the evening. It was luck by chance when only the Grand Children of Michael Raj (i.e. my Mom's dad) were all together at one place except for Sekar mama's kids.

We six at the end sat together for a group photo-up and with shear coincidence all were wearing a unique dress code. I am sharing the pic below, see our Tops from Left to Right -->> Red followed by Blue, then Red and ended with me with Blue Tee. Also all were in Full pants. It was an unplanned photo up but we enjoyed to the core.

I am also sharing below another wonderful video which we took it one the same day - The Columbus Ride of our Family Kutties.

I am sure you guys will love it.

This post is all about the fun and happiness which can't be bought even if Millions of $$$ are given. I guess many of my / our friends are missing such fun by being too much busy with their work life 24*7 and showing least interest in spending time with their family members. Hope this video will kindle their instinct to spend some time with their cousins and family members. A small piece of advise, whenever you get time huddle with your cousins sply younger ones never miss to hit them with a bang and celebrate each moment.

Being far from my cousins always make me miss them to the core. But being far also builds the expectations to meet them and huddle with them for some nostalgic memories.

p.s. it was a 2 days trip but ended up in loads of memories which couldn't be expressed out to the fullest in the blog. But hope the pics which I have shared and the videos will express out to larger extent. I thank the Almighty Jesus who gave me such a wonderful trip to Nellai.

Being Virgin !

Challenge #08

A notorious challenge – topic “I am a Virgin”. Challenge Accepted!

I am thinking for the past 2 days on how to pen about this topic, still couldn't figure out to how to prove my virginity? That too on Blog! So thought of taking you all to my hilarious experiences where I could have lost my virginity and announce to all that I am Still a Virgin.

Let me rewind my days to 10th grade. I used to go to Science tuition and my timing used to be early morning from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. Along with me only one girl from 9th grade used to come. Really to the core she was a “chick”. My tuition madam used to ask me to study in one room along with her and goes to cook. Believe me, we both used to be there alone with doors shut for nearly 45 minutes daily without any disturbance. The highlight in it was, if my madam approaches the room I could easily figure out with her “kulusu” sound. An alert signal.  My word, that girl’s name I could vaguely remember, but she was cute and always used to say just “Hi” every morning and bye (luckily not “Hi Anna” and Bye “Anna”). Sometines she used to ask me doubt, by sitting next to me. Uff, if I think on negative note of those moments just wondering what an opportunity I got. This continued for almost for nearly 2 months before my revision exams started because of which I had to discontinue my tuition. But the conclusion is till last I didn’t even give a hand shake or ever touched her by mistake.

Moral: Keep Calm, I ended up to be Virgin.

The next instance goes back to my college days. Few of my college mates had relationships with their girl friends which extended till room and another gang were having anytime fun with one girl also my college mate in that same room. Those guys, used to call some girls from other colleges too to their room for night stay. I used to go to their room for taking their bike whenever needed, taking some new Tamil & English Movies etc. Always those guys would ask, Joe common it will be fun Join us atleast for a night stay ! Let me be honest, few times got tempted but somehow always used to manage to get out of those shit.

Moral: Keep Calm, again turned to be a Virgin.

The next moment was when I was on an EMU train journey. I used to visit my Chithi’s and Grandpa’s home during weekends. One such night, when I was returning all alone in a compartment bogie from Chetpet to Tambaram is when this happened. It was the last train and when the train came to Nungambakkam station, a man boarded the train and sat almost next to me. I used to always gear up my ears with heavy music when I am travelling so wouldn’t hear anything outside what others speak. He tried speaking to me something but when I didn’t notice he showed some action to divert my attention towards him. I saw him and he pointed with his eye to a woman standing on the edge of train's door. I was so innocent that I couldn’t understand what he was trying to say because I could see only that woman’s face. But when she walked little further towards me is when I noticed her dress with heavy make-up did I realize that they where there with different motive. Before I could hold my shock and thinking what to do next, one big family with 2 cousins and 3 kids with their parents (almost 8 members) boarded  the train at Guindy. It was a great sigh of relief. The guy (pimp) stood went to the edge of the door and was kept on seeing me for few more station halts, but I kept my attention outside window purposely. They got down in Thirusulam station. Till date, I had never disclosed this ugliest moments of my life to anyone.

Moral: Keep Calm, I once again passed my Virginity test.

To end this post, I want to take an opportunity to thank God for keeping me Safe and Virgin till date under His Light. I walked through the evilest temptations but He saved me from all those evils. Thank you Lord, for saving me from all those ugliest clinches. Also wish to thank my Notorious friend who suggested me this topic. Guess I didn’t had much of Humour in it, but never had anything humours experience related to this topic.

I am happy for being Virgin till date, guess it will be the biggest gift I could give to my Life partner when I get married.
