Orkut

This word was once a buzz word a decade ago. Almost all my UG Class mates were having an account of our own, even though Internet connectivity was not so user friendly via mobile & at home. Still we used to spend hours and hours in Interne Café’ and kill our time in Orkut.

Following were our rule book of Social Networking particular in Orkut.
Rule 1 : If you don’t have an orkut account then you are doing a sin.
Rule 2: You need to be part of any Community for sure.
Rule 3: You need to send Testimonials
Rule 4: Search new friends and make new unlimited friends via common community groups
Rule 5: Need to keep on scrapping right from Bday’s to all status updates
Rule6: Keep updating the Orkut header name

Still remember we used to follow these rules strictly and with so much sincerity. Had I shown the same interest in my studies in UG days things would have changed? But Orkut gave me new friends and an understanding about the power of Internet and strength of Social Networking. I used to be an addict to it.

Ask my K750i (Scorpio) it would cry literary, bcos in that mobile and with those days internet connectivity I used to always open my Orkut page and keep “scrapping”.
I had few secret crushes in it but couldn’t follow it up later and ground nut frying with them and few others used to be my full time assignment.

What FB is to these generation college guys, the same used to be for us a decade ago. Orkut had some good features like Testimonials, which helped to build the image of a person. It was all the way to understand a person to a new level. I doubt how many Social Networking sites have such an option.

Still I donno how to describe my action towards Orkut, how it was….
Yesterday got the clear news that Orkut gonna be closed down from today, was little sad but felt Nostalgic. But we need to live with it, things need to be on the move and on new stuff will change the lifestyle of people in social networking aspect.
Wanna share something special at the end !!!

B.H.A.I.Y.A.

An Advisor, A Counsellor, A mobile guru, My companion for Veg restaurants, A person who loves to stretch out his arms to practice Kick Boxing, A F.R.I.E.N.D, but all in all my Bhaiya.

My DJ – Deepak Jain Bhaiya. 

Words aren’t sufficient to define him but our Bondage is special and will endure forever.
Though I know him for the past 10 years being in same locality, its last say 4 years our relationship has grown strength to strength. Really don’t remember any particular incident why we became close but it happened for a reason. I thank God for giving me such a wonderful Bhaiya in my life.

He has been all in my ups and downs in the past 4 years and guess it’s vice versa for me too for him.
He knows my little to larger secret. It was by his advise I did a particular act, but it he himself who consoled me and took me outta that depression when that act didn’t work out. Even recently he stood for me in a very crucial situation. I won’t thank him for that; b’cos guess it was his responsibility. He will kick me off too if I thank him..

As mentioned on top, my companion for all my FB Check-In’s of VEG menus. As an old proverd says, if be with DJ Bhaiya be Veggie. Infact I have never regretted being a Veggie when I am with him. He suggest some delicious dishes when we goes out (Only thing gets irritated with the hotel fellow if the Naan is not Crispy & not Ghee topped properly).

We both share a very special hobby. Mine is to always pull his leg ( I love to do that always and will continue to do) and his is to hobby is to Kick boxing with me ( Luckily he has left Gym off late). We both become kids when we fight with each other. He has purchased a long steel scale just to target me when I pull his leg. I had been always on alert so far. He has made a special cabin “office room” for me. I am sure I am gonna get good massage someday. These things I bet you guys can’t be valued or measured or got or purchased anywhere. Such things are called - #Nostalgia #Bondage. Time to pull his leg before I go to the next line -- He is an ardent ardent fan of Shah Ru Khan  --- #SRK's Die hard fan and faithful follower of Rahul Gandhi ( he resembles like him too). Now I will be getting some nice punches for this....aaaiyaaa jolly jolly.

I like one big thing about him, he never keeps anything in his heart particularly to me. Good or Bad he says to me immediately. He takes full privilege on me and tell anything to me. I have never felt bad about that. That’s the special about our r’ship.

I wanna keep it short, be in any situation he has been for me, with me and in front of me shielding me.

I know in past many have relished his r’ship as mine but have neva kept their bondage and have neglected him. But guess mine is different situation, he didn’t treat me as them. He has given me spl. Room in his heart for me and it’s my responsibility to be liable for that.

It’s my responsibility to keep that bondage glued up with a Fevicol called Love.
Open Statement ::: Guys, those who have considered his Frndship & R’ship lightly I would say ---- You have done the biggest mistake in your life.

Incidentally, you guys may be not lucky as me b’cos as he no longer makes Frndship easily with anyone anymore (Secret revealed).

Only one thing is still pending in our r’ship --- we both have never taken a Photograph together, except on his marriage. But I am happy bcos real r’ship doesn’t need a photograph to be framed we both have framed each other in our hearts. One more thing is pending for a long time. He had been asking me to teach Guitar but I swear before my Guitar breaks into two pieces with his hands I will teach him for sure.

BTW we share the same short forms for name – “DJ” – Dnel Joe & Deepak Jain – Whatta coincidence – Brothers – Made for Each others

Love yaa Bhaiyaaaaa.......................I owe you my R’ship to you.

It’s his Birthday today guys.....I would request all my Blog readers and this post readers to just take a few min. to wish him Good Luck and Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooonggg Life for his future & wish him for his Bday. It's ok if you post it with belated wishes.

I am sooo happy for this year's bday of his b'cos he has a wonderful Family now ( a complete one), business have started to grow with a wonderful Team members to back him. Just wish this continues for him for ever and let him grow more and more with prosperity and health.

So folks, I know you would have got an overview about who my friend is.

Yo Buddies, he is one of the rarest collection of folks in my friends list. I neva expected him that he will turn out to be my Best and Jovial Buddies.

Though I know him, for the past 8 years our friendship grew only at the end of 4 years of our college journey. Really I neva thugt this guy had loads of respect and wanted ma frndship alot, you wanna know how I came to know? His 4 pages scribble on my Slam Diary proved it. I was moved to tears that day.

Guys, mark ma words he is very energetic fellow. Hardcore fan of Koundamani. He and his Jippa is one of his trademark.

We both compliment each other a lot. If you guys are mutual friend of both, you can notice in out pics, both would have teased and commented on most of the pic. 

Education wise I will be honest he was not an outstanding student but he has planned well his life. Chose a different professional field among our batch mates and succeeding.

Hmm a little emotional at times, gets little tensed when some one stabs him from back. He is an ardent and loyal customer of "Saravana Stores" (machii thittathey lol :P )...His colourful shirt's and DC Jeans were one of the rarest collection of Apparels during his college days, particularly his Wallclock wrist watch.





Apart from that he is one guy whom I can assure, he will stand beside me at all times. I have shared quite a lot on my personal front he has just advised and suggested me by being in my place. He is one guy whom I am quite comfortable in sharing and vice versa he too is quite happy and comfortable I feel so.

This guy is always jealous wheneva we hang out for Food ! He always take pic of mine while I grab and post. He is great fan of me ;) :D  

Chalo this is a short testimonial about one of ma best, closest and dearest Buddy --- J.D.K.D :)

I am blessed to have such a wonderful friend. I hope I dont disappoint him and let him down at any circumstances. Machii, at any point of time if you feel I am doing wrong lemme know at that point don't hesitate. I owe ma frndship for Life time.

Vivek !!

Vivek – Gem of a Character.

I donno how and why I got to know this character? And also donno why God made me close to him!!!

I know this crazy fellow for the past 2 years. We got to know because of my P.G. college. My PG college life rules were almost like a Jail but I was happy because of the friends I got, one of the leading folks was Mr.Vivek.J

We dint got close all of a sudden over night, but instead slowly we got close because of the evening special classes then followed by the main break through was 8^th November 2009. Guess what it was my Birthday celebration, alas I found it was Vivek’s arrangement. Really I was moved to tears when I got to know about that. Then few trips like Vandaloor zoo visit and Sirumalarghal Orphange visit made us further more close.

Apart from that our major participation together started with our College symposium. We both were the Event Managers, and then we the organizers for Queensland trip and the College Farewell. The last two events were the major ones which we both worked together and specially with same wavelength.

One of the most memorable trip of my life was our Kodaikanal Trip. Really those 4 days we enjoyed a lot together with our friends. February 24^th 2010 was another memorable day for us, Sachin’s 200 and College farewell , we both together.

Most important highlight of our friendship is our WAVELENGTH !! Which I feel is always the most important which every friendship needs and we have 100 outta 100 in that sense !!

Then he is a party animal, if it comes to food he will grab it with both the hands.

OK!! Enough of our sharing, let’s give the testimonial about my dear friend Vivek.

Vivek is a semma jovial character. I Bet you guys, you will not see such a fellow in this world. He is all-rounder in many ways. If it is on the spot drama he will be the director, if it is trip he will be the organizer, if it is dance competition he will the first to dance, he and his “belly dance” is the special of all. I admire his calculating speed; he and his calculator may compete for the Limca book of records that much speed. He is real cool character I have ever seen. His photographic poses none can beat. He is a NON-STOP Entertainer.  Where ever you go he will never mind about the surroundings and will be entertaining of the folks. These are the main reasons why I am binded with this fellow. 

Apart from that studies, if it is Application oriented none can beat him. He is an average all-rounder in studies like me in that perspective.

Coming to the special character, you CAN BELIEVE HIM A LOT. I have experienced in many ways. Till now What I am, Who I am , and What’s happening with my personal life he knows it. He stood with in my personal bad times and consoled me. He may look silent and calm but will stand for you if he is your friend. He is the brand ambassador for the word “Trust Worthy”. He will help to  the core but I bet guys he would have told any one that he has helped so and so person. He never shows off that I did that or I helped and all. Silent Helper but a True one. 

In girls side, he is real gem. So far I donno whether he has seriously fell for any girl. He doesn’t get distracted and fall for them. Really his real time girl is very lucky to have such a genuine guy as her hubby.

He is a real talented character, innovative, hardworking, quick response in work, straight forward. I am sure he will reach great heights one day in his career.

Truly I don’t know why he likes me? I don’t know am I worth being his friend? Whatever may be he likes me, that’s it!! I am happy for that no more questions!!

 I don’t know how I will repay his debts for his friendship but I can say one thing I can repay by giving my eternal friendship to him.

I am blessed to have such a friend in my Life!!! I bet you guys if Vivek is your friend you will have Non-Stop Entertainment & will eternal friendship !!!!

What else one can expect from a true friend !! We have so far had no misunderstandings, either we expect will have in future too. I might have hurted in some ways or other, if I did so Vivek sorry da mappi !!! I am blessed to have such a true friend like youuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!
